Support Groups

The Santa Cruz Parkinson’s Community has several support groups, open to anyone living in the county who is living with or caring for someone with PD.

Peer Support Group for those with Parkinson’s

When: Meets on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month from 1:00 to 2:30pm.

Where: Currently, this group is meeting online via Zoom.

Care Partners’ Support Group

Our Caring Partners group meets to share experiences, speak, laugh, listen—-give each other a helping hand. All care partners, men and women, are warmly welcome to join us.

When: New member group meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 1:30 to 3:00pm, and the second Thursday from 4-5:30pm.

grOWING FORWARD GRIEF SUPPORT

There is a support group for those who have lost their loved ones with PD:
This support group for grieving care partners meets the third Thursday of every month from 2:30-4:30pm

Women’s Group

The women’s group meets for lunch the third Thursday of each month. Details are posted in the monthly newsletter or email aura@easepd.org for more information.

When: Monthly lunches are usually the third Thursday of each month at 1pm.

Where: Local restaurants in Santa Cruz County.
